"Early Autumn Evening" pastel, SOLD.
As I work in several media, find here a selection of work in pastel and acrylic. The transitional sky at sunset, sunrise, or dusk can be dramatic or subtle in color and mood. For this reason, I find it endlessly fascinating. Think about it - sunset and sunrise occur twice a day and each event varies depending on your perspective, prevailing weather where you are, and the absence of presence of clouds. I never tire of looking at the sky because of the constantly changing show it presents, the effects of light and color, and the abstract forms that colors take overhead or reflected in water.
