Though I am primarily a painter, I really like to draw.  I think it has something to do with the sensual quality of fine drawing papers, the joy of mark making, and the smooth feel of a quality colored pencil.
This collection includes - colored pencil, charcoal, litho crayon, soft pastel dust and even oil pastel. Some of these drawings combine several media. For instance, in "The Prairie Awakens" I used pastel dust (with fixitive), colored pencil and oil pastel.   Colored pencil has gained a reputation as a fine art media in recent years. I have been working in it since college, loving the smooth quality of PrismaColor pencils.
